Platinum is the real deal. Everyone knows he has a clean record. and he will be as fair and logical as even teh great jorus is.. also he wont mind humping the goats... so man i introduce you Jorus Jr. Not quite like him, but as close as it gets. I think explicitily voting like this actually lessens the person's chances. Showing everyone that someone is capable and deserving works better if its subtle, gradual and not specifically bringing up staff positions. In other words, this works better as a natural process (or at least nonpublicized), and if you try to force it, you're probably going to ruin your chances. |

I tend to disagree - true, someone shouting 'I wanna be staff' is gonna get them nowhere, but I see no harm in players voicing their opinions of people that they feel have the qualities to be good staff. After all, existing staff don't interract with all players all of the time, especially when busy playtesting things like patch enhancements, so in general many good staff candidates could be overlooked if there was not player feedback. The forum seems a sound place where we can suggest candidates but of course, ultimately the decision resides with Broadband/Cybervic. I think that can only be helpful to them, they can't spend all day looking for potential staff! |

i believe that what dave said is true. Sure we all have different opinions, but every player should be able to voice his/hers opinion about who they would like to see as staff. I also agree that a player shouting i want to be staff doesnt look very good and wont get them anywhere. Everyone should be able ot place their opinions! |
