Yeah sure any country would want to be in the US's and UK's shoes cause they took over the world and in the end failed miserably, they went to vietnam a third world country and failed again miserably, they came again in WWII and only reason they won was cause they used nukes and without using those nukes the war would be really stiff. Also Throfin China might sound like a hell of a place to live in but to be honest its just what your media potrays rather than the real truth, and the US or UK government's idealogy is no different than Saddam Husseins's or Hitlers because they all kill millions of people and call their politics with a different name and idea. And in China you can have as many as 10 children if you want to but the government only pays for the education and needs of one child. As I have said before do your homework yourself rather than listening to the damned media. If you dont watch the news you are uninformed but if you watch the news you are misinformed. I have watched both videos myself so please watch it they are both great videos and if you ever get a chance go to HMV or a movie rental store and ask for Farenheit 9/11. Thats all I have to say that every country is flawed and twisted in a way just that some are more twisted and flawed than others...and others get dragged into it.

EDIT: WTF!!!!!!! ww2 has been won because of nukes?!?!?!?!? what a bs man! if the americans didnt attack germans from normandia, war would be hard to win, besides germans were so stupid to attack their ally- russia in 41. Not to mention england who betrayed us and our south neighbours b4 the war(france did that too).
AND btw second world war has been won not becuase of that nuke dropped on hiroshima and nagasaki. Japans was too weak to attack european countries, besides they had no interests there. War has been won because germany get in ass from russia and americans mainly. learn history.

and about fahrenheit9/11- im not using rental videos or other shit i can download it from torrent :P ill think about it.

Like I said Throfin the main turning point was the nukes and without them both sides would suffer and the battle would be drawn out even more you read only part of my post and about farenheit 9/11 u really should watch it or atleast watch the video links I posted :)

ok mediumz.....those videos are great and all but you need more sources than noted conspiracy theorists. Don't get me wrong Michael Moore is great, however he is going to take a scewed view on things......you really need to see this issue from all sides not just the liberal side...... :roll:

Yeah, I will agree with mediumz that the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the major STFU moment in the war that more or less brought at least the Pacific war to an end. But even if there were no bombs, I don't think Japan would've lasted a whole lot longer because they were already in dire straights due to a massive lack of oil. That's the reason they got all tangled up in the war in the first place... the US set an oil embargo against them so Japan decided to try to take out the Pacific fleet in Pearl Harbor in order to remove the US's ability to protect the Philipines, a major reserve of oil at the time.

As for Germany, you're probably right that the war would've drug on for longer, but for how much longer? I have no problem stating that Hitler was a brilliant political mind and could whip people into a frenzy with minimal effort, but he wasn't nearly as good of a tactician. Not to mention the fact that he was pretty spread thin with the fact of fighting a battle on two fronts, with the US and Britain to the west and south, and Russia coming through from the east. Hell, he even killed himself before either of the atom bombs were dropped! So yeah, Germany probably would've held onto that thread for a little while longer, but it was already a downward spiral of resource management problems and horrendous morale.

It's been my experience that those who brag about fighting.....can't. But w/e terek you are still just a little punk, half my age so its not even a point in argueing about it. And if you look in "Faces of Obsidain" You will see that i am far from fat. Where you look like you had one grain of rice for dinner lastnight. So get you're undernourished ass to the soup kitchen and get yourself a meal OK :wink:
