I know I should've let the cool kids do it, but I couldn't help it, I was sooo bored... So, uhm... Pagan Hellfire - 27 kills; Raine - 36 kills; Chaos - 48 kills. |

For easier computation, I denoted Chaos with C, Raine with R and Pagan Hellfire with P. We have: "Chaos has one third more kills than Raine" meaning C = R + R/3 Then: "Raine has one third more kills than Pagan Hellfire" meaning R = P + P/3 And then: "Together they have 111 kills" meaning C + R + P = 111 We write everything with respect to P, as it is the smallest and obtain: R = 4P/3 C = R + R/3 => C = 4P/3 + 4P/9 => C = 16P/9 C + R + P = 111 => 16P/9 + 4P/3 + P = 111 => 37P/9 = 111 => P = 27 ; R = 36 and C = 48. Hope I was clear, I'm not too good at explaining |

Well, if there's a simpler way than plain algebra, pls let me know, I really am interested. But if you meant I took too much trouble explaining, I already said, I wanted to make sure it's clear. So... what shall it be? |
