Ogre u left out the fact that Germany kept having to bail out mussilini in africa. And yeah, Hitler was a politician not a tactician. The major tactical genius of the germans was Rommel, who Hitler didnt trust, and got sent to help Mussilini i Africa.

And for the record, America is largely responsible for the end of World War 1. They entered the war late and with the extra supplies and fresh troops Germany was quickly defeated. Until the States joined the war it was pretty much a stale mate.

America had the worst tanks, in battle with german tanks they would have no chances, but they did they job with infantry.
