Some dude is running a shard called "Land Of Obsidian".

I've been messing with running a LAN RunUO server lately so I was cruising the RunUO and UO Gateway forums when I saw this dude promoting this shard and almost thought it was this one.

Isn't imitation the best form of flattery? And given the fact that atleast one shard popped up a few years back as an EXACT copy of obsidian is as flattered as I could get :)

All in all they've been around what 4 months? At the end of the year we'll still be around....doubt they'll say the same.

indeed ive seen more than one shard attempt to make an obsidian dupe. they all failed. and in watching them fail my respect for bb grew more and more.

somehow this shard has that magic ive never seen on another shard. we are very lucky to have obsi.
