found a red gem necklace on a monster, no-one wants to buy it. Any ideas as to why?

I have one of those too but I kept it as wedding gift for my once to be fiancee Julia and I had another rarity for the sexy beyond comprehension Nimphandoras. Thanks for reminding me to hand it to them before I go Bunyan!

These necklesses date back to a time when we had questines here on Obsidian. Basically they where npcs standing near some banks around the world of Britannia, giving out small quests for people to solve. In reward they would get quest tickets, which was supposed to be able to trade in for stuff, but that never happened. Anyways one of these little quests was to find a red gem neckless, if I remember correctly it was the lizardmen in the swampland between Trinsic and Britain who had a chance to drop it. And they still do occationally i believe. So i dont see why they should be illegal. Its just a rare item.

Correct from a quest long ago. It is rare and no npc will buy it but a player that has to have 1 of everything will
