What are your views on it? With the 360 already out, PS3 comming out, and Revolution slowly approaching.

What do you think will be the best console?

IMO, the 360 will the be one catering the the casual gamers, the Revolution just being pure pwnage awsome. And I really don't know too much about PS3 yet.

Hehe....I really don't like consoles. Xbox 360 isn't great (I mean...it's just a pc for computer illiterate people), PS3 is going to suck...but the Revolution I will most likely buy. It's the only one that has promise, and new ideas.

Course, I just know they're going to be remaking FF7 on the PS3...and they won't have it on PC :/

There are just certain games that aren't the same on a PC as on a 46" DLP high def TV. Racing games, console fighting games, sports games, platformers. For this reason 360 is the ownage because of Xbox Live and it's full seemless integration with PC media, high def, and quality surround sound.

yea they are...not to mention the insane pricing on it..
like 400 american dollars for a console....that blows up 4 hours later...
50 dollars for a wireless controller and 40 for wired controllers
THEN the games are 50 and 60 dollars
not to mention you have to pay to play some good online gaming
while Revolution has free online gaming and i believe so does the PS3.
plus, Xbox 360 games arent all that great IMO

Bet you a dolla u using a microsoft o/s.

No use for a new gen console here... still got stacks of Dreamcast and Gamecube stuff which was either free or extremely cheap to obtain.


... and Quake IV plays a hell of a lot better on a 3ghz puter with a gig of RAM and a cheap 256mb video card.

That's a fact....regardless of game. And if you really, really want a controller, just buy one for €15

Anyway...the day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner.

Yeah everyone is bashing it but I bet none of you have one. I have one and am 1000% satisfied with it. And no, my 360 isn't crashing. Has only crashed once and it was due to a network issue, it didn't even really crashed just locked up hardcore while playing a large audio file from my PC over Wifi. But after I resolved the network issue on my PC it's running great now.

PS3 will be twice as powerful as the xbox 360 is what i heard. Plus it comes with a blu-ray dvd thing. Oh it is also able to go i think it said 120 screens a second which is not even possible by any tvs out now. so i think 360 and nintendo = pwned
