just incouraging ppl to try and get ppl new to obsidian theres been a lack of new ppl here and the newer ppl can get this shard up and running funnier than ever
lets aim big this christmas for 40 or more ppl on constantly

we dont need new people at this point, maybe when the shard is in decent shape. I was planning on giving 30 burnt cds of obsidian to a local card shop to give out to people, but im not going to untill it gets better.

All we can do is hope they get it back up on the normal server soon.

Once we get a faster server, no lag, races, and some minor bug work, we can start getting more people. Plans are in motion to flood the torrent sites with the Obsidian installer. .
The people are out there and they want to play, there are just a lot of things that must be worked out first.

I'm 90% sure they aren't coding, or if they are now, the crash was still unintentional. From what I've gathered the shard was being lagged due to an error in a script which is causing the CPU on the server we are running on atm, to go up to a HIGH CPU usage. When it should be somewhere around 30% CPU with like 30ish people on, it's running at like 95% CPU load with like 15 people on.
The only person who can say something FOR SURE on this matter, is BB himself. All I've got to go on is what I hear.
