Well Well Well... we're only a "little" late for christmas. But the shard being down really can't be helped, so as I've promised, if people are still game for it we'll continue with the yearly gift giving and yuletideness.

So here's the announcement:

Current plans for the 4th anual Gift Giving and Yuletide Festivities Event courtesy of the ArkAngels:

Will proceed as normal, with games, fun, and of course, santa with gifts.
Right now the time is looking to be this sunday, after the CTF event. Possibly may change depending.

Even if no one shows up, it will be held, because you cannot squash the spirit of christmas, even w/ server downtime.

Only rules:

1. PLEASE only come once. Using multiple chars, or accounts(which is illegal anyway) just makes the individual gifts to people get smaller, so lets use some honesty here people. There should be plenty for everyone, even if we somehow get an insane amount of people on.
2. No pking, and be on relatively GOOD BEHAVIOR. This is good behavior as expressed by the rules. Those who are seen breaking lesser rules or spamming/the like run the risk of not being allowed to participate.

There will be two seperate events more then likely, one in vesper for the blues, and then one in a different area for the reds. More information will be posted here as I recieve feedback.

Umm... well... Santa got a little more sidetracked. Due to circumstances beyond my control, i was called back to okc for the weekend, so until i get back home i can't logon to obsidian, and given as i have meetings this evening, i may not get home early enough to run this event before then. So either the event will be held this evening, around 10pm central give or take an hour or two, or it will be rescheduled for the next weekend or someday during the week.

I realize this will kill some of our players who can't stay up late due to a school night, and i apologize for this.

Perhaps leaving it until you know a specific time may be better. It would suck if someone missed out just because it was ran without some notice!

Yeah... meetings running till at least 10pm tonight, won't get home till 11. We'll see who's on, if a lot are on i'll run part of the event today and another one on wednesday to catch the rest. But if not many are on, the event will be moved to this saturday.
