He was more curious about the easy ways to train, like smelting ore one at a time.

I think to GM smithy it takes 36000 ingots, and you would need to make all daggers from them ingots. so 20 -100 skill is 36k ingots yeah.

Tailoring, just craft tons of bandana's over and over. Then you can either cut the bandana's and get half bandies back, or sell them to a tailor NPC.

Tame everything you see. Don't macro your Animal Lore until after you GM taming. You'll fail more this way, and be able to tame animals for longer, resulting in more chances to gain.

While training taming don't forget to release your tamed animals so other people can train on them as well, and so you can come back after awhile and retrain on the same animal. To release say "all release" or "<name> release" Don't forget to train tracking on your tamer as well. It will help you find animals that are farther than you can see in your screen.

wooden shields get you a cool 30-50 gold each , also dyes and paints are worth some good money but i think you might need some other skill for those. I didnt think fishing rods were worth very much, but thats not to say they wont help your skill.

For fishing gains, stick to the docks. You can fish through the wood of the docks, so if you make a macro that is "last object - Target self" you can walk along the docks fishing them without loosing the feelings in your hands. You’re also fishing in guarded zones, so you won’t have to worry about a PK using you to make a name for him/her-self. Fishing plain sucks to GM, so I wish ya the best of luck. However, if you do stick with it, the rewards are huge. Expect to fish for about 48 hours total time before you start getting the rewards of being a fisherman. Once you can get the good fish, you need to start working on your cooking skill. I have not GMed this yet, but I have been told that a good size stack of fish steaks that are cooked one at a time can get you to GM in a few days. Cut up the fish you catch and sell them to NPC fishermen. Once you have saved enough for a house, use the house to store your cut fish in so you can work cooking later.
For mining you can do the same kind of macro as you can for fishing, just walk along the mine rather then a dock. If you smelt the ore one at a time you get a lot more gains, but separating the ore is a big pain. For blacksmithing, make daggers with your iron, then re-smelt the daggers. Make gorgets with your low level colored ingots, and then sell the gorgets to NPC blacksmiths for some good quick gold. Save the gold until you have enough to buy a house near a mine, then use the house to store your ingots. Mining and blacksmithing together will take you about the same amount of time as fishing, and you will go through somewhere in the area of 30K iron.

for taming find a polar bear, hold ALT and click on the bear to follow it, after that use a macro to last object (taming stone) last target (bear). Then once you hit 60 use white bears for the same process untill you gm it.
