I would like to remind the person who PK'd me while I was AFK right outside of the Britain graveyard (and looted and hacked up my corpse) that is ILLIGAL. If you found my body laying there slain by a skeleton and looted me... also illigal.

Enjoy my banged up shadow armor and my silver katana twerp.

i don't know who did it BUT "outside" gy means death if afk and i happen to come by.

Right outside the gate? So the GY is off limits, Britain is off limits... but the area between the 2 isnt? That would be extremely lame as then it would be like the Britain version of the Vesper bridge...

The area between Britain GY and Britain is guarded.

Ah! <whew> well I'm not quite as dumb as I look. Thanks Sonne.

Too bad I didn't get back in time to call guards. I was on my lunch break at work and some annoying customer called and kept me on the phone for like 15 minutes. ArGh

Britain is off-limits? If someone kills you within the Britain graveyard it's illegal - same applies if they initiate a hostile action that forces you out of the graveyard and then they kill.

But since when is Britain off-limits for killing someone? I see bodies at the bank everytime I log on.

Offlimits as in it's covered by a rule or by guards.

Bottom line... I should have just logged off when I answered the phone and that was a really lame place for someone to kill me when I did. But techincally not illigal.

I'm pretty sure that being afk is just as illegal as being killed in the graveyard...

im pretty sure just being afk is ok, as long as you are just sitting there doing nothing (i.e. - not macroing). i mean come on, do you log off if you need to go to the bathroom?

6. Do not PK players inside or around cove OR the britain graveyard.
So yes, to clarify - it is illegal Kinetic.

AFK or not, anybody seen pking inside or AROUND the brit graveyard (irrespective of whether it is a guarded portion or not) is in direct contravention of the Obsidian rules and as such will be punished. I would consider anything between the graveyard gates and the blacksmith to be covered by this. It is ludicrous to say that you cannot pk someone in the graveyard but they are open game on the 30 yards back to town!

Staff used to be alot stricter on this, there are plenty of places to pk without being cowardly and prowling the newbie hunting grounds.

In future, for damage limitation purposes I'd recommend the extra 30 seconds to enter Britain town proper and log out, but whoever killed you was still breaking the rules. If possible, use forensics on the corpse and then take a screenshot. If it shows who killed you, I will hunt them down and warn them. If they persist, I will jail them.

And oldman, being AFK is not illegal (we can't punish our players for toilet breaks ) but of course - macroing while you are AFK is not allowed.

Actually being afk is illegal. Since you cant always know if I'm macroing right? lets say I'm doing Anatomy, and leaving it all night. When I get jailed I could just say,I was taking a shit at the toilet. So what alot of staff has said to me,the fact that you are afk at the game,is illegal.
