Any tips on trainign weapon skills or tradeskills is appreciate. Locations or tricks of the trade.

You probably need to be a bit more specific. What are you looking to train (fighting/crafting/magery)?

In general
Fighting Skills: Just fight a lot. Either find easy mobs to kill over and over or just go hunting.

Crafting: Find the "cheapest" item to craft and make a lot of them.

Magery: Some people like to spam cheap spells like cure or agility while others prefer to hunt using magery.

Unlike OSI you dont have to change what you make on here to still get gains, i.e. you can just spam cure to GM magery instead of having to up the level of a spell to gain, its a lot easier to train, however it is sometimes frustrating to get a gain, theres no GGS on here niether, for instance you can shoot 2k arrows and only get 0.1 gain, even when your at 80 skill.

If you can stick with it its not too bad, but be warned, on here macroing is not allowed and if your caught you can have skill removed and items taken away, unfortunatly that means that if your not on 12 hours a day everyday its going to take you a long time to GM anything (unless its anatomy or eval int or something you can skill on yourself)

Barney, is incorrect with the macro part. You CAN macro, but you CANNOT macro and be AFK at the same time!

In short,
Macroing = OK
AFK macroing = VERY BAD = YOU GET SCREWED BY STAFF

And even just being AFK as far as I know is illegal..

Sure it is,because they cant possibly know if u are macroing ...lets say healing is visuable,but anatomy? they cant know if you're macroing something. got it?

Being AFK isn't illegal, macroing whilst AFK is.

If we have reason to believe you are macroing then we can/will jail you etc.

However, we have a macro stone that will harmlessly disconnect you if you do not click it in enough time whilst AFK.

If that is true,Why should you jail people if they are macroing Anatomy for example. I mean ,How could you possible know? the guy just stands there and does nuffing. So what about that?

Or even Meditation for that case.

Gm's can check skill gains.. and sure being AFK might not be illegal, but try standing AFK in your house for a 10-20 mins and you'll prolly get D/C..
