I would actually like to say a bit in praise of kilourious.

Although I personally dislike the fact that the guy has looted me of 10's of thousands in armour and equipment - hey, thats life.

What I do appreciate, however, is his actions as staff. Orisus was a fantastic event organiser (additional thanks must go to Hydro for this kind of thing). One time I was on, and Orisus was holding events constantly - at least 4 while I was on. He has also given me plenty of advice, and been helpful with pages.

It is staff like him that keep the game alive. Seeing as his PK character must have looted at least a million gold worth of items so far (I mean cmon just do the math, the guy pks most people on sight) I find it more than ridiculous to accuse him of cheating - why the hell would he need to?

I hope this post doesnt appear inflammatory, but if I feel something needs to be said, then I will say it.

In all other ways, I have tremendous respect for you Cybervic - your work deserves tremendous credit.
However, from alienating people with the same views and love for this shard as you - you are seriously shooting yourself in the foot. You are also damaging the enjoyment of the others here. I, for one, will miss Orisus' advice and events.

I think those of you who voted 'yes' are seriously letting your dislike for Kilo pking you cloud your judgement. That should have nothing to do with you feelings about his staff account.

Why on earth are you voting for *less* staff in this game!?! We really need more!! Grow up guys.

He was banned for abusing his power. We are hiring more staff that will be more reliable and won't abuse power end of discussion.

I don't see why he was banned. If he was cheating, you shouldn't of given him a staff account with a regular account present.

Kil was one of the cool dudes on the shard and shouldn't be banned, because he had a million dollars in front of him and took the money.

I think it was more like: his staff account was banned, he whined and bitched about how he thinks the shard blows on the forums and said he was quiting, and then broadband banned his player account too so he couldn't take back everything he had said.

I don't consider that being a situation of them banning him because he had a million dollars in front of him and took the money. Sure, the situation started with that, but Kilo was responsible for his own immaturity, and his immaturity is what got him banned.

you guys make me laugh... maybe i was just looking for an exuse to leave obsidian... theres nothing for me here, and i have no reason to stay. Hopefully the new staff will bring new and better things to obsidian. Im currently playing on another shard and im actually enjoying it. So i guess obsidian wasnt for me, and me being banned works great for me, cause its not easy leaving a shard you've played for 3 years.
