Post subject:  Incorrectly locked

To the person who locked my thread incorrectly.

First of all. Do not lock my thread unless you have reason to do so. It was not questioning staff, or about any "unsolvable problem", so why should I PM Broadband about it? I have said nothing bad about anyone. I was simply curious and asking.

And... I think someone wrote a thread about leaving, instead of PMing Broadband about it. So dont throw the famous rock in a house of glass.

If you need me to show you that I did not break any rules with my post I will gladly do so, but I think you should know about the rules.

Now to the questions again: (read the locked thread for history)

1: I know Emos conduct is not the best. But I was curious about what forum rules he broke?

Repeated flames (against players AND staff), and ignoring moderator warnings.

2: I disagree. I think saying "IP banned, game set match Thass" is very provavative.

Provocative to the player who gained the ban in the first place? I don't really care - if they were deserving of my courtesy they wouldn't have been banned.

Ok, so you have quit as GM, but not as forum moderator? Or are you inactive as GM, but thinking about returning? Are you still considering leaving as moderator, or has "the bad apples" left?

I don't need to explain myself to you, don't flatter yourself.

3: Well then, dont lock threads with constructive critique.

We don't. It's quite remarkable what some people seem to think passes for 'constructive' critique.

And why should I send these kind of questions to Broadband? This is beyond my understanding.

They are his rules, and its his f****** shard, deal with it or leave.

Finally, I know plenty about being decent and mature, thank you. So, unless you want to start a flaming war, dont mention it again.

If you were decent and mature then you would be pming me or the shard owner, not making inflammatory threads on the forums. And if you think you can threaten forum admin with a flame war you are clearly deluded

I keep rule breaking posts off the board. This, is simply normal questions I was curious about.

The very nature of this kind of thread is rudely breaking the forum rules. If you have genuine concerns, take it up via PM.

Best regards Buddha

Are these not quetsions directed at Thassius?, oh yes they are in that case PM them to him instead of trying to be "clever". Doesnt matter how you word your post, a post of this nature can only be seen as being arsey towards Thassius, and this i will not accept.

Just when things seem to have settled someone opens up the can of worms again for some bizzare reason :(

Thanks Kane - its clear what he is trying to do here.

I am not going to tolerate insidious threads like this. If you have a problem with my conduct, PM Broadband or you will be banned.

I have absolutely no problem with my judgement being questioned as long as you follow due process.

The staff are not controlled by you or any other player, this is why open discussion of this kind is not tolerated on the boards regardless of whether it involves me or any other staff member. I am accountable to Broadband - so PM him.
