Many killed in Bengal Bay storm
Flooding in Andhra Pradesh
Parts of Andhra Pradesh have had unprecedented amounts of rain
At least 63 people have died and hundreds are missing in India and Bangladesh after storms in the Bay of Bengal, officials say.

Authorities in India's West Bengal region say at least 20 bodies were recovered in the Sundarbans delta.

And rain in the Andhra Pradesh region killed 31 people over two days.

Bangladesh recovered 12 bodies after dozens of fishing boats - with several hundred fishermen on board - sank.

A BBC correspondent in the capital, Dhaka, says many fisherman - out to sea without radio equipment - are likely to be sheltering on remote islands until the weather clears.

Indian states hit

Officials in West Bengal say that a tornado struck the Sundarbans delta, south of the state capital Calcutta, early on Wednesday morning.

Monsoons in Bangladesh
Fishermen in both countries often suffer during the monsoon

All across the West Bengal coast, villages are littered with uprooted trees and twisted telephone poles and electricity pylons.

A senior district official, Roshni Sen, said at least 13 people died when mud houses collapsed in several villages.

The state's minister for Sundarbans development, Kanti Ganguly, said reports of damage are being regularly received from remote river islands all over the delta.

He said at least 400 fishing trawlers were missing.

In Andhra Pradesh, heavy monsoon rains and floods led to the evacuation of 5,000 people from low-lying areas to safer places.

Officials say incessant rains have caused extensive damage to crops and infrastructure in the area.

This is the second time during this year's monsoon that the state has faced serious floods.

Bay of Bengal map

Officials say 130 people were killed in heavy rains and floods last month.

A senior disaster management official said 15 people have died in the worst-affected Karimnagar district. Most of the deaths have occurred due to house collapses and drowning incidents, he said.

Karimnagar has received the heaviest rainfall in two decades and many roads, bridges and irrigation tanks have been damaged.

Officials say nearly 80% of Karimnagar town has been submerged.

The weather department says the region has been receiving heavy rainfall due to the formation of a low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal.

The meteorological department in the state capital, Hyderabad, has forecast more rains for the region over the coming days.

Missing feared drowned

Officials in Bangladesh say that a navy ship was caught up in the bad weather that severely hit the coastal region.

The commander of the ship, who holds the rank of lieutenant commander, is still missing.

The navy said rescue ships and helicopters are searching the Bay of Bengal to try and locate him.

The rest of the crew on board the ship are all reported to be safe.

The Bangladesh Coast Guard says that more than 100 fishermen are reported to be missing feared drowned and rescue operations have been launched to trace them.

Government officials in the area say that it is almost impossible for them to know exactly how many fishermen have been lost.

This is what happened
Good job by laughing at ppl's death..

You're pathetic Lestat.

BTW, Frenchies only live in Eastern Canada, if you knew anything at all about Canada you'd know that, but you just like to talk out of your ass and try to fit in.

STFU moustache-boy.
