I just bought my first house and I cant get inside even if the door is unlocked. Is there any way to fix this?

You can try to set up an in-game macro for "opendoor" if you haven't used a door key on it yet, that should open it.

Worst comes to worst - make a "house door" key and use that. I prefer the first way, but it's not always an option.

Door keys will lock and unlock the door but when I try to open it, it says I dont have a key for it......maybe it has something to do with how close its placed to another house. I accidently put it right next to one and then read up that it might cause problems. If something can be done to fix this that would be great cause I spent alot of time collecting the gold. I'll try the chat room too.

Try to create a door key, not a master key, and use that on the door.

How exactly do I do that?

Double click your house sign, you will get a few tabs, click on the far right one called "Options" and select the button to "Create Door Key"

Then double click the key and use it on the door. This would be easier in IRC

I already did that. unlocking and locking the door is no problem....its opening the door that is.
