My ping is always above 230ms.. and I don't know how to fix this.. any suggestions?

Actually you cant do anything, i got a 100 mbit line and get 190 ping all the time, we just have to live with the fact we´re not in usa. Not that bad of a thing to live with though.

I got crappy DSL and I ping around 24 most the time and on bad days around 97. Dunno!

nothing u can do... BB moved the shard to another server... now it lags for everyone...

Untrue.. it lags for anyone who isn't near the shard.. I live about 2 hours away and I ping 15-20 on average..

but he did switch servers cause my ping used to be about 5-10 prior to that.

Same my ping is fairly good, and i live around 15min from BB. Now that he moved, and if so then I live close to u ashes. That makes me safer....lol.

I live in Georgia (USA) and i still ping around 30 - 110 and my lag seems random, unless I am torrenting something, and in that case, I lag all the time

but when regiss sees this thread he will tell you to contact your ISP and change some route or some shit like that, (it was in anther thread)

It could be that you're running through a router? I know I pinged at around 260 when I was going through a router and without a router it was about 50
