Post subject:  New Guild -OMERTA
This is Maximus, formerly Aleksander of Norse Army. With the closure of Norse Army(as far as I know), I have made the decision to start a new guild by the name of OMERTA. This guild will be devoted to becoming a stronger guild that has a large role on Obsidan. I hope to create an environment of comradery and trust; a group of people that have the desire to become great players as well as help others to become great. I will restrict admittance of new players so that special attention may be paid to these new players. For each new player, there will be at least 2 or 3 experienced players to advise and aid them. I am not suggesting a babysitting service, but an established line of communication between older and newer players.
There are many ways I hope to guild life interseting once this one is well established with a good player base. We will participate in regular guild hunts and events like ffa style events at Haven. A guild village or Keep will be erected when the time comes that we need one.
A code of honour and trust will be the only trait expected of members. PVP is more than welcome as it is part of life. However, tricking friends into traps and stealing or bug abusing or hacking are not traits of an OMERTA guild member and will not be tolerated.

I chose this name never knowing of the old guild. That guild is gone and is dust now. If you would like to join, you may apply by msn me :P . So the name stays the same. In other words, welcome back to Obs my friend. :wink:

There will only ever be one Omerta. It was the first guild I ever joined on Obs back in the day. Why not call your new guild Destiny? :lol:

should go solo for abit...Everyones already in guilds. If your gonna make a good guild you have to make players fear it, One important thing is guild loyalty and teamwork and the ability to stand by each other in any situation, if you dont have it youll end up like cult. What happened with cult was they started of good, but when it came to the final fight they just didnt have it in them to stand and fight. Only ross stood firm and fought. The numbers where about 13 lov to 7 cult, i can say for myself before cult broke up we were outnumbered alot of times but we still stood firm until we died.

And thats what ya need if you want your guild to stand on 2 legs for along time

why??

cause everybody was using the lov's accounts and not their own...

so take a walk ody and stfu about my guild

we chose to not fight ppl we don't know and were obviously illegit, bug abusers, hackers, etc... they are now banned as u know so well...

I'm pretty sure no LoV'ers got banned actually, they are all just rather annoyed with the current situations.

So why not try learning a bit before talking, oh sorry, that would be too unlike you to be informed before you talk.

You seem to be on a little spree of pointing things out, so how about the fact that you and RmX dry looted Barney and deleted his characters?

Ohh, wait you blamed it all on RmX and let him go down for it, whatta pal!

Noone from LoV was banned actually. Ashes is the onlty one with an LoV char that wasn't unbanned after everything was straightened out. And as far as bug abusers and cheaters, uuhhmm you had restile and RmX in your guild. Enuf said.

Yes, the only way to be strong is for the members to be trustworthy and for them to have some intestinal fortitude to stand up for what is theirs and for their guild. It is hard to keep things honest in a guild, but with a little self-policing and accountability, it should be under a bit of control. For those of good character that hate the cheating and constant stupidity, give me a shout. Why not work with a guild that would get back to the roots of what a guild is about? Guild hunts, village, and guild events like FFA would hopefully build a good team that when it comes to war, they will not run away or backstab. Gimme a shout. [email protected]
