Well I decided that I wanted to listen to Stairway to Heaven one day but was too lazy to download it so went to youtube to listen and found this instead.

Now I know that there has been alot of controversy about this song and possible hidden messages about Satan in it, but I never listened to it before. When you play it close your eyes- dont watch the lyrics! Bet you'll hear nothing but gibberish. Then listen again but look at the lyrics this time- can you hear it? Isnt it amazing how you can only hear it after they TELL you what you should hear? Whos actually doing the brainwashing here Led Zeppelin or the ppl trying to tell you that Zeppelin is brainwashing you??????
This is also interesting, it is a piece of a Christian Program from the 80s talking about satan in rock music.

Just so you know.... Paul Crouch Sr- the host of this show was accused of forcing one of his employees Enoch Lonnie Ford into a homosexual relationship by threatening to fire him. Crouch paid Ford $425,000 to shut his mouth- so who is really serving Satan here? People in glass houses.... lol!

I want opinions here! LOL what do you guys think of this whole backmasking thing???? Yes! there is a Pink Floyd song that actually has a message when played backwards- it says something to the effect of "congrats you found the secret message, write to ...... what ever the address is with your answer" But crap like this Stairway to Heaven thing is just bull!
I would like to know- if I worship Satan he will give me 666? 666 of what? 666 dollars? I'll pass really, thats not much money and I already serve one cheapass employer I dont need another! :wink:

It just sounds like gibberish to me. "People are going to hear what they want to hear and any album played backwards is going to sound like something. But the truth is back when that Zepplin album was released they didn't have the technology to actually input hidden messages. Those vinyl albums it was hard enough to play frontwards ffs. Silly churchies. :twisted:

As for the music, Zeplin and Floyd have been my fav bands since I was a wee little girl just learning to work on cars with my dad. He would listen to it and I would sing along to it while I handed him wrenches. Hell, I knew the lyrics better at that time when I didn't understand them than I do now but then again I don't sing much these days either, I hear I suck at it. lalz

first off....to the suggestion that technology was not there to put messages over the music...of course it wasn't. If it was tehre I would think that the messages would be much more audible and I am sure more elaborated upon than just partial sentences and such. However people have heads and they can think and have creativity and therefore can create. That is what they did. Being musicians, they have a job to sell a product. So, how better to sell a product than to create controversy over it?

So these guys sat down and wrote a few lyrics and worked some into it that can be reversed into nearly legible words. They could not do the whole some that way or the actual song played forwards would be unintelligible. As it almost is anyways cuz they cant speak straight. So by creating these reversible lyrics and letting it be known that they have a message...or letting ppl find out themselves, they have created a self driving publicity drive. Nothing new I am sure. Further, to people say it is a tool of brainwashing are retards, your mind does not have reverse playback...Humans were made by God(or whatever u believe) not Sony or Panasonic. So the only people that will be effected by this are people that already have a tendancy to think that way and just need a little push from a musician hero and to forget their ritlin that day. So you can keep reversing songs to find something that can guide your life or u can just take your meds and stfu. :)

Also, much against the grain I want to state that Stairway to heaven is on my alltime most hated songs list. Much overrated indeed. They should lay off the drugs.

Yes...churchies, especially American churchies go over the edge. eg. did you see the friggin hair on them?!?! :lol: But ya....they played right into the hands of the marketing ploy...free air time advertising the song and the band LOL. Good job churchies! And that geek with the tape machine has to get out of his parents basement and get a life! ya, the emo guy model shipped with alot of defects
like the tendency to smoke alot of weed
