OK, just found out my Spanky may need surgery so I wonder, how much would you do for your pet money wise? If I asked my dad he'd say put em down and be done with it but that's completely out of the question. What do you guys think?

I would say if you have the money, or if you have the credit space.. no more then 2k (most pet surgerys dont cost more then 1k anyways).

Could always get an ant farm.

Ya, it's kinda shitty, I mean he's my baby but $700 is money I don't have. I'm hoping he'll get better and there is a good chance he will. After all the vet is a moron anyway, and spanky nearly took her head off which had me laughing my ass off.

Chipzorz, they *think* he has a torn ligament in his leg, he's on anti inflamatories tho so hopefully that'll do it for him and he'll be ok.

Till then I'll baby him more than usual and keep him from running and jumping and basically being happy. Lol

I spent $600 on a cat one time.
Someone kicked him in the jaw and broke it on both sides.
He had to have it wired together.
Sad thing is 2 weeks later the damn thing ran away.

omg! That would really piss me off, I think I'd hunt it after that.

Its not so much that it ran away that would piss me off- its that someone kicked it in the face and broke its jaw that would piss me off
