I am having the same issue as well. Is there a link to the patches so that I can install them manually?

If you're having the same issue, manual patches aren't gonna help
you. Most likely it'll be .NET Framework problem or corrupt install or w/e
what nobody has pinpointed yet.

Info on the problem you're having might help sometimes too.

im not that good with internet security stuff so this could be completely useless, but. incase your connected behind a router. it might have choosed to block some ports with outgoing data, which could be used by the patcher. or yer computer might block certain ports? anyway to find out what ports programs (in this case the patcher is using) do this...

Go into task manager by pressing ctrl+alt+delete and click processes. then click "View" -> "select columns" and fill in PID (Process Identifier). then OK. now in teh Process tab of task manager each process shows its ID. check what the patcher process (obsidianpatcher.exe) got for PID, then go to Run... and type cmd. then in Run... type "netstat -a -o" wihthout the quotes!

now all info about connection to from yer computer will be printed out, with adress and the :port after. look for the PID that obsi patcher in the mostright column of the table. when you find the row(s) its connection info says on same row aswell... see if you can do anything with this info...?

this as i said may be not to any help at all. if not, the just ignore this. this havs helped me solving some program vs connectivity problems of the past atleast...
