Hello !

I've read something on the message boards (but I don't remember where, sorry) about Healing, the skill, having delays depending on other skills, like Magery.

In the skill guide on the website, I can read healing depends on dex :
Quote:
Healing Self: 11 - (Dexterity / 20).
Healing Others: 4 - (Dexterity / 60)
For example, if I have 100 magery, would my healing be slower then if I leave it at 50 ?

PS : I'll try to find the post where I read that and put a link. Or maybe was I dreaming ? lol

Edit : Ok found it. Not sure it was that post I had read, but it says what I pointed out :
Quote:
gm anatomy is amazing for pvm thou... because you never fail a heal, or at least you fail alot less than if you have 60 anatomy. I have gm ana on my tank mage and he does pretty good on pvp. Just think of the huge delay you have b/c you have high magery, so anyways the delay is probably going to b pretty close to the delay on gcure pots. so actually just keep gm ana and get your timing right. When you are fighting a warrior just throw a lesser poison pot on urself right after you cure, put bandie on. When you are fighting a mage you will have to be curing and healing with magery anyways.

Okay thank you ! I didn't that post on my searches.

Does it change a lot to have the healing delay slowered that way ?
I see Jackal saying it's better having a good timing and good skills. But seeing I would like to GM parrying too, my healing will be damn slow.

My second question then : Is it better maxing Magery or Anatomy, seeing I will only use Magery for healing and protection ?
(damn, I know it's a noob question lol)

are you going for a Poly mage or Tenaka? If so only 60% anatomy and gm magery... but you can poly to daemon at 85% magery lucky enough. Myself stopped training magery after that and only gain magery from hunting now.

Oh I think I'll go Tank Mage. The possibilities and freedom of Magery is something I couldn't do without.

And if I make a mistake, my fff friends will be there to help =^_^=
