Post subject:  Launching from the patcher but nothing happens

Hello !

I've acquired a new (old) laptop and wanted to put Obsidian on it so I could play where I wanted in my house. ^^
But I have a weird problem that I haven't found on the forum or the troubleshooting yet. It is that when I launch the game from the patcher, I get no error message but nothing happens ... no game launching.
Has anybody already encountered that issue ?

I've tried copying the folder I got from my desktop computer, and erase all the files, but still ... nothing happens when I want to launch the game.

I don't know what to do. Maybe the laptop I bought isn't really good. It's a P4 2.8Ghz with 512mb RAM. I guess it should be ok for UO lol
I have WinXP on it, and AVG as antivirus. And I have Daemon Tools too. That's nearly all I've installed on the laptop yet.

I'm trying to download again the installer from the website, in case I had a corrupted file.

If someone has an idea to make Obsidian work on my laptop, that be more than welcome.
Thx =^_^=

The problem is I get no error message :/
When I launch the game from the patcher, the patcher closes then nothing happens.
It might be a patch problem because the last message I see is : patch 303. Then nothing.
