Calling it a night, folks...

Here are my final notes:

1) Something is certainly wrong with range. The only way I can explain it is that I can't "walk my grid". I hope some other fishers out there will understand and back me up on this. I can't seem to fish in my foward walking "wedge". (If I'm on a shore that runs SW [runs Horizontal on your screen], I cast my line S out to 6 tiles and then E 6 tiles. I then move one tile W then S. Repeat. I might have to post a screenshot with some Photoshop for some folks, aren't I? )Something is screwing up the range somehow. I just can't put my finger on it. I'm Sorry.

2) After my horrible experience with pre-patch fff earlier tonight, I'm not seeing a blue skill increase onscreen or in my journal even though I have gained. This might be something for another thread. Again, I am not sure.

With the pre-patch state of GM fishers being somewhat lacking I'm hoping that some will come out of retirement to help out a bit. Fishers Unite!
