Before the patch you could cut kindling with a key without getting lumberjacking gains.

Now, I get no kindling and it destroyed my key.

Use a knife. Key's cutting kindling pretty much was a long running bug i guess it is fixed now. If you use a dagger tho you shouldnt get gains.

I guess it was buggy so long I didn't know it was a bug.

I usually have a dagger on my fisherman, but had so many fish in my pack I couldn't find it. I should have put the fish in a bag anyway.

Damage dealt to axes/daggers when cutting/chopping wood is excessive. Possibly set it so no damage is dealt to tool used for lumberjacking/gathering kindling?

The nice thing about using keys was that it could be done by any char without getting lumberjacking gains.

I am pretty sure if you use a dagger you don't get lumberjack gains, you do get camping gains when you light it tho.
