then what when I log in at the account it stops working...

As long as you've manually installed the patch from http://www.dxgaming.com/obsidian/patcher/400.exe all you probably need to do now is end the obsidianpatch.exe process(s). Note: you might even have more than one obsidianpatch.exe running. Nuke all that you see running in your task manager after you start the obsidian client. It doesn't work anymore and is in fact soon to be replaced with a whole slick new client. Hope this helps! :)
