What can be tamed now? because yesterday i tamed a scorpion and a lava snake
Just wondering what else is on the list now

When the races were first changed,(before the classes) i had capped out for some reason and was at 99 taming. I saw a drake that was grey near vesper and it told me that i needed 100 to tame it. So i am not sure if that was just a feature of the new server that had not yet been removed or what but i don't think that taming dragons was ever meant to be allowed here. In fact i remember something a long time ago about not being able to tame monsters because it would totally unbalance PvP.

Actually monster taming has been in since cybervic first put his taming system in. Most people just never found which animals could be tamed.

A few of the animals in the current system don't have their taming skill required adjusted correctly, but that should be fixed in the next week or so.

Likewise the limiting system for combat tames should be finished around that time. It should have been done when taming was fixed, but other priorities popped up.

Oh i did find out which animals could be tamed because i tried just about all of them. Dire wolves, white wolves and panthers were pretty much the only red npc's that could be tamed. IMO not being able to tame monsters was what seprated Obs from X U O or other gay shards.

some of the more mean animal based critters could be tamed. One example was certain rare types of mongbats, not the ones in hythloths but the ones that spawned at random in the wilderness, around 1 in 5 were tamable. Basically any red creature that was mostly animal(such as giant spiders) you saw on the overworld(NOT DUNGEONS), had a chance of being tamable. The exceptions of course were the guaranteed spawns, so if you found a scorpion out in the wilderness, it could be tamable, but if you looked at the scorpion spawns in the desert, it wouldn't be.

Anyway as i said, a combat tame system is gonna be put into place, it's just not quite made it to the list yet. It will also affect the current (over)use of bears and other summons, to even things out a bit. Most of the monsters that are currently tamable aren't at their right value, if they are supposed to be at all.

possible to add sorta taming class to the game? Druid / Wilderness man or something, would be neat (y)
