There's a utility called UO trace (Google search for it, and it should come right up). This program will trace out the route that your packets take to obsidian. There's a destination field on the program somewhere (i don't know where, it's been a while since I have used it myself). Type in
www.dxgaming.com in the field and hit trace route...then hit the "poll" button. It will tell you exactly servers your packets are going through, and what servers are causing you to loose packets. If you loose the most packets at the first hop, then it's mostly on your end...If you loose the most at the last, then the problem is the shard. if your loosing them somewhere in the middle, then your ISPp should re-route your connection, but you'll have to call them to ask if that's an option.
