Well I was just wondering if the way fishsteaks where cooked can be changed back like before. Every time i cook fish steaks from a pile it only cooks 1 at a time instead of the whole pile. I have piles of 1k It takes forever to cook em. I understand it helps people who are training cooking but for people whos gm its just a time waster.

Why do you want to make the life for players that need to train cooking miserable? It will be a real pain to split one by one to cook each fishsteak individually.
Maybe adding an extra feature that will request you to choose either: to cook them all at once or one by one can be the solution.

With skill gains biased on difficulty rather then repetition, how many fish steaks can you really use to train with? Compare that with how many fish steaks you're going to cook over your entire Obsidian career.
I'd like to see the entire stack cooked at once. I GMed on fish steaks under the old system, and it's not too bad separating them to train. On the other hand, it would be a huge pain in the ass to cook 1000's of steaks (tens or hundreds of 1000s over a few years)when all you want to do is put them in a chest and get on with the game.
In other words, it might be a pain in the but to separate the steaks for training, but training is only temporary. What are you going to think of this in a year when you've been GM for 8 months.

The solution to that was always really simple just like with stat fish if you don't cook them in a stack you didn't burn them in one.
