iori, stfu? he wouldn't work on shit if he didn't care about it, so that theories out, and that attitude isn't what you would want to work to now is it? He has no gain from not balancing and such, so of course he's going to try to balance things to how players see fit, I dunno how you guys view things, is it your ego that doesn't allow you to see past him not being able to spend all day everyday coding for a free online game for you? and him making everyone happy = impossible, so while you may not see the sense in things, i doubt he'll do things with no reason when his time is as limiting as it is, with people like you, I would have quit a long time ago... so i politely say, SHUT the f*** UP |

I am pretty sure it won't go back the way it was but i do believe there is some changes coming in the crafting patch. I would love to see the fail to catch anything thing totally done away with and same goes for the mining one. It makes it that much more time and tool consuming not to mention nnoying. |

my ego? wtf u talking..... i know and i have been saying alot of times , that i know how much effort bob put in this shard and waste of his FREE REAL time here doing stuff. for example: cooking skill now SUCK, fishing skill now SUCK, loot SUCK, and i can go on and on and on with alot of changes that they r not working good for the shard, and is not just me its alot of othe players. now im not complaining IM SAYING what is wrong, and like bob say, even of complain try to say something useful, well alot of ppl say good ideas for fix stuffs and STILL they dont do it. so whats the point of saying: something is wrong and should be nice if u change it to this way . IF either way they do not go in to do. and i have been here for a while and i have see alot of changes, good and bads and for along time i STFU cus i thought that staff was doing the right changes, but NO MORE cus is affecting the playing of the game. |

the way i look at it, bob is one person......doing the majority if not ALL of the work (as far as i know). shit doesnt magically start working.....and as a coder i know shit breaks when another thing gets fixed. thats just the way it is. thats why i *offered* to help even if i had to learn a new language. though my offer was declined. arguing in my threads only pisses me off personally and gets my threads locked and that pisses me off more:) so try to keep it to a minimum. bob does read these....and when he starts to see flaming he forgets what the thread is about then gets pissed off.....and in the end its MY FAULT. yer breakin my balls guys....yer breakin my balls. |

the problem is also that Bob will also lock threads that hes seen a thousand times on the same issue with no one posting anything new in it except, "i think this sucks and should go back to its t3a standing." thats all that this thread was, fishing is hard, and should be placed back to the way it was.....well its not. hopefully, as belgarion stated, that the new crafting patch deals with some of the problems and makes the skill less dreadful. until then, lets stop posting about skill that we believe should go back to what it was, and make a thread where we actual discuss real, and possible changes for the skill overall.... |

sorry, like ive said in other posts i havent got enough patience to read the past 5 years of threads:) i did a search, and didnt find posts about the particular issue so i posted about it. perhaps we need a "t3a archived posts" section on the forum....just to make searching a little more.....user friendly:) i look at some of the main threads and see posts from 3 years ago at the top of the list....

ya, the search functions suck donkey Dick because you would have to get parts of the title right, when it can be named ANYTHING and or know what someone wrote in one of the replys, also these might be from t3a like mentioned above search function useless. want proof? search "change log" or "changelog" get nothing? ya.... search sucks.. |

especially since trying to search for what you really want is titled really wierd titles that only the author would know. like say u want to search for fishing info. i doubt the title would simply be "fishing" lol it might be something crazy like this, "help my long pole" hahaha idk im just guessing |

i remember days without gains.....so we really shouldn't be whining about the gains system. I could fish for 6 hours and not see 1 .01 skill gain about 2 years ago at 50 fishing. I for one have been very happy to see my lumberjack and carpentry actually progressing whereas under the old system it went no where. and if you are unhappy about crappy tools buy better ones....a Gm shovel lasts about 5 hours mineing. at least. |

it didnt take nearly that long for fishing dedo.. either you don't remeber or you exaggerate. because I gmed fishing in that system.. i think now its jsut some skills dont take into note the amount of time it takes to really complete that skill,, like anat. you can sit there and do it every 3 secs while taming , you run around .. and half the stuff you cant tame at 50... so ya.. but as for lumberjacking.. trees are everywhere. so theres not much searching.. |
