Alreet possible bug here, everytime i browse sum1s vendor, i loose karma and eventually turn criminal.which is a bitch cuz u cant go back into town without paying 700gp to get back out jail Also might be possible i dont know...but on vendors theirs packs within packs that cause this to happen and on 1 occasion it said...you are not high enough pickpocket to steal this item..so can sum1 with gm stealing be able to rob vendors of their items? possible bug maybe? I prefered the old vendor system much more simplier and less dangerous Also is stat cap 290? or 320? on the stats it says 320 max , however is it 290??? blah blah confusing? My suggestions 1. Enable people to wall of peninsulas with a wall 2. Are black mustangs tameable? or available? 3. Unban past players who are banned i.e. ashes, i think all banned players should have a pardon seems they broke the rules on obsidian T3A and this is a whole new T4A 2 different games 4. New staff recruited, however not by players who play obsidian but by 3rd party people..shall delete the tension of staff bias that we have had in the past i.e phantom 5. Tweak mages back to what they were, however increase warrior stat cap to 250 str to even the past stupid overwelming damage of poison or increase the meelee hit chance a mage can take from a warrior 6. How about a new dungeon? 7. New character hairstyles 8. Introduce black hair or new range of hair dyes 9. Islands accessable by players via boats 10. Bank loans can be taken from banks? 20k max? 11. Possibley get the order and chaos shields back working? you cant get them now 12. Disable rez killing by like if sum1 kills sum1, they cant touch them for 5minutes same applies in a group gank on 1 person 13. The town of magnicia has dissapeared last time i was there lol? 14. Bad language filter implemented *i dont think new players especially a kid should see the work cocksucking cheating n*gger etc lol 15. Guildstones seem to let u nominate players into guild, but needs a final approval by the guildmaster, what if the guildmaster plays once a year? can a guild grow? Cba to write no more these r just suggestions tho |

1.- i like the idea and some ppl in the past buy fences for they houses, i brough to wizz a tower in trinsic that was fenced all around long time ago for a couple of mills. 2.- not available, i think barney have one cus he won some event 3.- HELL NO, ppl who mass abuse from bugs r just wack !! 4.- in this days U CANT trust too much, lol besides we dont need staff right now at lets that he can CODE and help bob lol. 5.- agree with the tweak on mages, rest is useless 6.- luv the idea, but right now there is more important things to do. 7.- should be nice to see that 8.- yeah that should be nice too, i miss my old black hair. 9.- Boat have neva been playable. 10.- hahaha with this recesion ... nice 11.- dont think so this sould be implemented until the murder patch go wild 12.- 5min is too mucho maybe just 2min so u can use the runestone. 13.- i think is something with a upgrate in Sphere 14.- u can filter that ingame in the options 15.- only owner can let u join to guild... and well if GM plays once i year i think that guild is going to disappear lol.... |

The old vendor system was not only more user friendly but also a hell of a lot more noob friendly. Picture being a noob walking around obs for the first time and finding a vendor, looking in his pack and seeing something that he has no idea what it is. Now picture the same noob saying "vendor buy" and getting a list witha full description and a picture as well. If you were a new player who knew nothing about the game which one would you rather buy from? |

First off I want to say that i am locking this thread because it is a pretty pointless thread. It is not pointless because of content, but it is pointless because of lack of structure and scope. please please PLEASE ONE TOPIC per thread. At most only 2-3 suggestions, if they all go along. The reason for this is in a thread with this many suggestsions, you are not likely to get a common train of thought and the discussionw ill quickly forget parts or contradict or become unmanangable. I think you have some good ideas, some bad. That being said i would like you to repost them in a more split up form so each idea can be discussed in merit. Also given on what some have already said/notsaid you can decide which ideas you wish to pursue. Now on to the ideas: All vendor issues have been covered already. We are going to change systems. It is just NOT the most pressing update. PLEASE READ THE CHANGELOG AND NEWS POSTS before posting. That's outlined in one of them. Has to do with how it is handled internally. I put it that way as a quick fix to let our system work. I will care more about it when there are less important things to fixed, until then just know it's 290. (yes it willget fixed before signup works, just other stuff higher up right now) No. The existing walls are rather silly to begin with just I have yet to be able to work out a proposal that will get broadband to approve a system of refund that will properly reimburse players if/when we remove all player bought walls. I'm open to suggestions, but there is already a way to wall a peninsula, buy houses and pay the taxes on them to form a wall. This is covered in the rules under lockdown area blocking. No and no. 2 exist from past situations but they are not currently tamable. Ashes, as well as every other player that has been banned, has been allowed to come back, most with their old accounts. A few extreme instances had their accounts permanently locked and were invited to create new accounts and come back. Obsidian staff come from within obsidian, due to the unique structure the shard uses and the playerbase forms. There is exactly 1 person who is staff who has never played obsidian, and i'm inclined to believe it will stay that way. That being said there are a LOT more staff blocks and monitors now, and more will be added before we get new staff. Great, go join the 50 other threads that say that without giving any useful information on how. Stat cap is staying at 180 individual, this was brought up in a discussion thread. How about we finish fixing the existing ones first. Go to a barber. There are plenty of styles. Yes to hair dyes, and probably to pure black hair. We'll see. Yes, nominate a new guildmaster. Or get a different guild. You can vote the old guildmaster out by a popular vote. |
