k well figured out how to work my vendor properly so now all gold armor is marked accordingly.

also wanted to add that if you buy my armor i will repair it free of charge as long as it lasts....all other armor is the cost of ingots based off of what i could sell them for to the BS (still in progress)

as soon as I have a full set of everything above shadow I will be carrying those armors on my vendor as well.

atm carrying shadow and below no iron.

Post subject:  Re: vendor

just to let everyone know im changing my pricing system it will now be defense or attack value times 10

so say you have some armor thats defense is 50 the price will be 500gp

[edit] well scratch that i didn't realize that all pieces of the same color offered the same protection :/

i really dont think that a gorget should offer the same amount of defense as chest....

Post subject:  Re: vendor

no that must be a bug
iron gorgets should give like 1 AR or 2
and chests in the teens/20s

I believe that the armor rating is based upon the value of the entire suit of armor. This does not include the shield. I think there are 6 pieces to a set...w/e So if the armor rating is 60, each piece averages to 10 ar. The only real way to tell what each piece gives in ar is to wear it alone. The ar from the shield should be affected by your parry skill so it will vary between players.

Nope, Chips was right. Chest gives most, then legs, arms, helm gloves gorget. Well sheild gives most but you need parry.

I agree with that lol

What I was saying is that the armor rating it gives when you evaluate it is for the entire set if all together, not for the item being checked.
Each items has a different AR rating...but you cannot tell until you equip it.
