Post subject:  Necro Skills and what not..

Ok so I turned Terek into a Necro...He originally was 99.6 healing but when he turned into a Necro he still was!
Now my point is...when I look at skills and press on the "show caps" it shows that my Healing is capped at 50% but it's 99.6...now what should I do? Am I really gm healing or am I not? And should i drop my healing or should I not?

I also noticed someone medding and gaining over 50% (which is the current cap on necros) what is that supposed to mean? Can't we just stop gain once we have reached our cap?

in the old system if we overcaped on skills, it slowly adjusted every time we log in. Maybe this is not working?

The skill level you will be using on healing is the skill level your cap is. No it is not a bug that you can go over and still gain. That is how bob made it. He posted it somewhere i just cant remember where. He told me that yesterday to when i asked him same question.

It is written in shard manual, the point is you can gm magery lets say, then go necro, his example was the smith, a smith does not wield swords in nature, but if he was a warrior before he then can wield swords!

see crimson, u just made it more confusing for me.. bob wrote: "For example: a smith cannot natively use swords, but would make
better swords after having learned swordsmanship as a warrior."...so what you are saying is wrong, you cannot wield swords but you can make better swords...

anyways this system is a bit messy imo...it's hella confusing..

Wrong. ANY class can currently GM ANY skill, but once the final race is implemented (Vampires) then all the class restrictions will take place. Also the race stones will be removed and only a new character can be turned race. This is basically a grace period, but it will be over soon.

soo if i choose a race now, then after grace period do i get to keep the race or do i return to human and have to start all over? can i get a conformation on this. kinda important...lol

So where exactly will the stone be if only a new character can become one after the full implementing takes
place? Im guessing this will be after the tutorial or will it still be placed in the rune-chamber. Dont worry

Of course you get to keep your race char. Its just that once they are all implemented, you will have to create a new char in order make a race char. The stones are there so that you can change your older chars.

And im assuming they will be in the tutorial but really idk.
