I think the new system for animals is stupid but if Bob likes it its here to stay. Anywho the bug is that when i say all release with more than my cap of animals they turn on me. I get it for other commands but release?

If you read your changelog he mentioned this already. Yes you can have more than your limit of animals, but you also bring the chance of them turning on you.

I personally like this. Makes tamers like Llama uber strong lol.

@maher - Totally agree. Seems the people that bear spammed in the past are usually the ones pissed about this change. Even though it makes more sense to rely on your own skills. Bear spam = NO SKILL!

Yeah I understand that but why would they turn on you if you are releasing them. The reason i am releasing them is so they wont turn on me.

Its all commands. Your controlling them to be released, thus giving them a command. Since all release is a command it in turns makes your animal (by chance) go against you.

If you are releasing them tho, so they should be removed instantly from your count.

actually it was intentional. Not the best, but intentional. Same with transfer commands.
There are tricks you can do while releasing that will still force an animal to aggro who you want, and this was the simplest way to solve it without side affects.

Will it be adjusted in the future? Probably. Is it high on the list? Nope.

I completely fail to see how an animal who is released can still be ordered to attack? Unless you mean that by releasing them midway through they would still be attacking from being struck etc.

That's one method, but there are a few others.
If you want an in-game demonstration page and i'll show you a few ways it could be abused.
But suffice to say a tamer sicking 20 bears on you at once, or a warrior sicking 4 bears on you, is why it's staying in the way it is currently till i have time to write a more intricate system for it.
