Post subject:  Gold Stacking

I was wondering if it could be changed that gold stacks in 100k instead of the usual 60k or so.

Seems like a hastle to have so many piles of gold at around 60k.

Anyone else see this as a good change of a change? Cheers!

just stack in corner of bank...its not like you buy something high dollar that often.

I dont see it a problem tbh.
But if u havnt noticed everything has a stack limit i belive. It is aorund the 65k mark and its bandies etc also.

It is a little over 65k and it is like just some random # like 65436 or something. I have always kind of wondered about that myself. Why not make it 100k,a nice round number.

It's actually not a random number at all.
If you have 4 bits, you can store 16 numbers.
0 0 0 0 = 0
1 1 1 1 = 15

likewise, if you have 8 bits, you can store 256 numbers
0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 = 0
1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 = 255

a 16 bit number stores 65536 numbers. Item amounts are stored as 16 bit unsigned(meaning the number can't be negative) variables.
