never used archery here before so this may not be bug. but isnt your arrow damage supposed to go up with str. or do i just have to buy a different bow?

lol...thats what i am trying to do...lol.

but its like 30 damage tops for exceptional bow, and 37 tops when i poly.i was testing it out. i guess it makes sence though since you cant swing it harder only crank up the tightness on bow to increase power....we need barbed arrow heads..lol..jk

If this is true, it's a change from a few years ago. When i was using my archer everything was biased on dex. Speed was caped, damage was not...which is why archers with 180 dex could rely on hitting someone for 40 to 50 points.

T3A: Bow went up in damage based on str(default)
T4A: Bow goes up in damage based on dex(default)

I haven't decided which one i'm keeping, since having bows go up with dex does make sense.
Thoughts?

dex sounds good....

Archers and healers need dex
warriors and polymages need str
PvP mages and Necros need int

I always thought that str affected damage, but dex affected accuracy

i would say str would effect damage on a bow because it determines how far you can tighten and draw your bow back.... (and technique)
and dex would be accuracy because you can aim quicker... but with a bow it can work both ways.... accuracy effects damage more then strength anyway imo so idc lol just saying

its correct to have more damage with dex than strength becasue ur not wacking them with the bow ur aiming to.

E.G a gun lmao you dnt have to be 654734 pounds and be the worlds strongest man to kill someone with one but if u aimed it at the face rather than there foot u got more chance in killing them

Call me crazy, but i always thought the SKILL would determine hits.... hmmmmm
