no i use On Demand to order movies. or RED BOX.

i mostly hd stream the older shows and get blue rays only in the mail. but i remember a few years ago i got a shitty scratched up normal dvd from them.

solution- dont order normal dvds, blue rays are far more scratch resistant. if it isnt available on blue ray it is probably available on instant.

btw, netflix is way better than on demand and red box.

I have nexflix, but my internet is too crappy to stream. I've only had it a little while, but I haven't got a bad blu-ray or dvd yet....at least not bad enough to stop it from playing.

the blue ray would be nice to get but i dont have a blue ray player... and i didnt think theyd work other wise. it seems last 3 movies now ive gotten have been scrathed and chewed on no lie lol pretty annoying but i called and complained and they are now giving me 3 free months lol. so i guess it worked out in the end for me

I've looked into everything i can think of, and I'm stuck with crappy internet for now.

-DSL: too far
-Cable:too far
-Satellite: have it, but limited to 12Gig a month...which means no streaming
-Tethered 3G: have it,but inconsistent speeds, and can never get more then 1.2M
-Microwave: not enough user base in my area to be profitable for any company to offer it
-T1 line: even though they no longer cost over 1000/month, the few hundred a month it costs is still out of my budget
-Fiber:too far

If there's an option that I'm missing please let me know..I'll look into it ASAP

the closest thing on the horizon for something halfway good is when sprint brings the 4G WiMax online in my area. That won't happen for at least another 6 months....probably closer to a year

I'm changing my answer.....the last 2 movies I got from them were shit. The first one was a DVD that looked like someone took sandpaper to the thing, and the one I got today was a blu-ray that had a giant crack through it.

crazy shit. some pple are just morons who cant take care of anything. or maybe just the postal service are idiots on the cracked one at least.

since me and mandie refused to go see avatar in theaters on principle and then we heard about all this shit durring the movie awards (wtf are they) we had our interests peak and we got avatar on netflix youd think a new movie wouldnt already be shit but alas the dvd wouldnt play through on any of our dvd players and on my xbox it barely made it watchable... i think im gonna just goto blockbuster since i never really had a prob with them but they are expensive

saw avatar in theatre but it looks much better on blu ray on my samsung led omg my tv is just insanely awsm. buy one now if you enjoy top quality picture it really is shocking how much better this tv is than others.
