So, I haven't been training melee weps on my chars many years from now....

So since there have been many changes, what would you consider the best melee skill wud be?

Also, which one best with shield and without!

Chips lets not forget in the new system, stronger isnt necessarily better, with the healing that adds the delay on, maybe a faster wep is more efficient.

fensing weps are fast....

and i was just giving my opinion, thats what i would honestly say is the best wep atm....

Fencing has the strongest melee wep in the game, pitchfork. But its 1 handed weps arent that good, Not many weps to choose from. Macing is probably the best if you want to use a sheild. It has quite a few good 1 handed weps.
Swords is pretty good, it has a bigger choice of good 2 handed weps.

And yeah Hemo, why bash sub for saying the pitchfork is good? It really is the ONLY weapon you use LOL

bob does code, but he doesn't play actively,
the players are needed to test the shard, can't be done by all staff...

very few people are really into pvp now, so we won't get a mass amount complaining about a subject... because theres no mass amount of players to do it..

anyway.... switch from fencing to swords or macing if you feel so greatly about balance among melee weps

i agree with venom.. i really NEVER used a one handed fencing sword when i use a shield.. i always use swords.. katanas are really good for me.

I like the pitchfork, but only my weakling alchemist uses them. His fencing skill is not GM yet. I'm pretty slow with it and miss a lot, but sometimes I get lucky and hi the crap out of something.

I can't claim to know anything about melee weps right now, but what i do know is if a farmers tool is more powerful then actual fighting weps then there goes that reality we were looking for.

Farmers use Uzi's to plant seeds all the time... Thats way more powerful then a sword... God belg, do you know anything?
