If i'm not mistaken fish are supposed to be eaten to gain int/str/dex. Well I have gained 3 int. points w out eating fish so I assume this is a bug needed fixed.

gains have been bumped up, so you can gain past 100. everything has a 20% increase on base value, meanin wres should go up to 120
correct me if im wrong, but its supposed to be this way

I am not a fan of this increase. It both reduces income for fishers and messes with the way characters are built and maintained as they have been for a very long time. It would increase the need for -ints and so on...

But! I do recall Bob mentioning he did not 'mess with your precious int gains'. So I am not sure. When I said I was not a fan, I meant of the whole concept. It was okay the way it was.
Cheers

int fish were never that big to fishers (atleast for me)
so idc about the int being increased / not being increased, although its annoying for caps and stuff,
because it doesnt lower income by that much...
but str and dex, by changing the cap from 100 to 120,(people are gaining past 120 to like 140 now for some reason)
and that can take a huge % of a fishers income 20-40 str fish per character lol maybe more depending on the build

I suggest to all to create a fisher n gm it that way you wont spend the roughly 2 million it would take to get all your chars to high enough str I actually like that you can train past 100. It gives a chance to the poor new players that have 90 str to train it and still collect gold little by little when they hit 120 maybe they can afford the 20 - 40 str fishes they need...to take on the higher end npcs.

2 mill?
even when they were 8k, 8000 x 40 = 320k....
and they don't go for 8k any more
every obsi player without a fisher has managed to get full stats without much griping, so i dunno what your on about....
+ even if the cap is 120 you can gain past 120...
i got to 114 without any stat fish when the cap was 100, just by using - stat...
so i still dunno what your on about...

320k x 4 chars = 1.3 million and thats with having the perfect stats now if you decide to tweak them add another 400k. so still close to 2 million n thats with 40 str fishes try 50 which is average warrior or high str on a crafter type of stats pass 100. hence why I say create your own fisher I spent 300k on str fishes alone for one char just to get it to 100 cuz my str was gaining very slow wrestling and using mace. Also add on the dex costs and int costs.... you are gonna spend 2.5 million on fishes alone..per account
thats nothing against fishers but its the only crafter that can potentially make one million selling str fishes..with maybe bowcrafters coming in second with the most potential money making. miners and tamers are left in the cold.
It does suck you can gain past 100 but dont act like its not costly to gain str...And GM BOB made it so if you are close to stat cap you barely gain any stats... which is true because I have not gain stats since he updated that on any of my chars that are full or close to the stat cap. Thanks GM BOB.

People have reported the -stat trick doesn't work in t4a, so the original incentive for this update was to allow people to train back up to where they could in t3a (115-125) in each stat.
A few stats got adjusted because they were a little off in my opinion, in so much as the training still required people to buy a relatively large amount of fish before they could do even beginning endgame content.
Fishers will still make money hand over fist, especially with the influx of new players once recruitment starts.
all i'm doing is reducing people from buying near 1/3rd their stats to 1/4th their stats, so people can play more without paying out to fishers if they want (stat gain near the higher ends wills till be slow as dirt and most will prefer to buy fish)

hmm fishers makeing money hand over fist sounds good just dont see it. Maybe if some new fish were added or even some kind of new rare fish added maybe. But if we could get a few more playing that would help.

toss-
so every one of your characters has 140 str? apparently everyone is creating accounts with nothing but warriors on it
bob-
same as what i said with toss.
most players would want some sort of mage on there account, mages average
115-120 str... eliminating the need for them to get str fish... + 120 int... = 40 int fish (to get to 160)
which is 20k per mage...

true, still 50 fish for them, but affording it isn't a big prob for a PVM mage lol

I'm just adjusting the supply/demand curve a bit. I seriously doubt you will run out of people who want to buy your fish.
If you do let me know
