is it smaller/ bigger or what?

seems to do the same damage :/ which confuses me...
because

each wep is supposed to do the same DPS
1 tile weps do the same DPS as 2 tile weps?
I know for sure that 1 handed single tile weps don't do as much as 2 tile weps or 2 handed weps
but what is the distinction between 2 tile 2 handed and 1 tile 2 handed?
