 Post subject: Magery on Necromancers

was just wondering.. why does it capped at 80 and they got like 50% chance to fizzle..
i think it shouldnt be capped in 80 anymore.. u're saying that ill auto fizzle 50% + my normal chance to fizzle by magery?

I dont know but necros magery sucks i dont even use it no more cause its so shitty.

would make sence if we are able to gm magery and have that much magery.. just so we dont fizzle alot with just magery.

having high level magery plus necromancy is just way too powerful.
I ran tests on it when i reimplemented necromancers to see if i could remove one or the other, but really the original caps were there for a reason, and i've yet to find a better solution, sorry.

Couldn't you simply remove the ability of Necromancers from using certain spells? That sound like a solution?

i finished out necro will destroy mages..
also they are the new best hunting class

threw means of stealth and easy way of killing pkers (majority mages) they will become the predominate hunting class and will be most successfull
the pvm class is destroyed my a mage a simple dispell and the dark alone is enuff to cause u to loose rite off the bat.. the extreme darkness in this version especially in dunguns is pretty bad... i believe less darkness would make for better gameplay.. maybe fix it so that at least once dispelled from polly that you can actually see the screen in a dungun... but thats annother topic..


so with all that in consideration i think the cap and fail rate on magery is pretty fair
otherwise they would be way unbalanced..
i think the use of scrolls by necro's should also be taken away.. as if they fail it don't use their mana.. hence they can keep spamming things like dispel and ect.. till they get a success from it.. which then turns them into a pretty successfull pvm killer as well...
along with other things.. yea.. id say disable scrolls... leave cap and 50fail..

the necro class i see will be a pretty bad ass class.. threw means of sneak attacks and hunting especially in a group of only 2
from the dmg i have seen the problem with necros as i see it.. their only weakness being a warrior or so i have heard.. well.. say u have a pack of 3 necros... its pretty unstopable.. all doing +100 on one target at the same time

heh..

i havn't seen enuff to make proper judgment yet.. but i believe the day i see a pack of necros running around killing anyone in a mater of a few seconds... it will be a bad day.. but yea.. just my opinion :)

Lol ya you cant make a proper judgement no offense. You only saw the good side about necros.. You didnt see that i die in 2 hits from a warrior... Or that 2 Necros cannot attack the same target..

yea i didnt know that 2 necros cant attack the same target..

that was my only concern when i saw the amount of dmg done in a short period of time..

being that... i think its pretty solid..
but yea.. i was baseing my opinion on the fact that i thought 2 necros could attack the same target

necos look fun
may make my non used char one
