Instead of having loads of decayed houses laying around have the option to buy the house again for the price that is listed on the sign. I know I have at least 2 decayed houses that I would have gladly bought back but did not have the option now they are just taking up space and resources.

Ex. "Oh crap my house Decayed!"
*clicks sign*
"This house is currently worth 55k, would you like to
A. purchase this house
B. Put the house up for sale
C. Destroy this house
D. Nothing right now "

Putting the house up for sale would allow another player to come by and buy the house and ALL its contents, but can only be activated by the owner of the house. While the house is for sale the door is locked to ALL players, so no putting a house up for sale to avoid taxes. The money could go to the regional fund that taxes are supposed to go to. This would allow players to regain their houses so more players would return. ALOT less requests for GM's to handle and make house hunting more fun and interesting.

Its a good idea to keep players from losing houses to wipes.

I was more thinking along the lines of less work for staff = more fun for us, AND maybe more players will return again lol. I know I wanted to start playing again a few months back but my house had decayed so I gave up again.

by the way, 2 months aren't enough for decaying...
there're no players at all,,, then it should be at least 3 months if u ask me.

Yeah.. I think 90 days sounds more reasonable too.

OR! How about when that happens let others double click the sign and buy your house and items! I LIKE THIS IDEA MUCH MORE!
