Post subject:  Gallery Systems: Putting your screenshots on gallery

I've decided to create a gallery site for Obsidian. Gallery is freeware and pretty easy to install.

Currently this is installed on my ADSL line. If it gets use, and people give me positive feedback, I'll attempt to put it on one of my professional servers. I have no rules with the exception:

No porn (of any kind. I'll be logging your IP's, so if anyone gets ANY ideas along those lines...)
No slagging off the speed. *obviously* it'll be slow. If it gets used, and BB wants to link, then I'll be more than happy to maintain it.

I will be looking for responsible people to maintain the status quo - deleting inappropriate pics etc.

I reserve the right to withdraw the service if it is abused, and to modify my rules.

Pics are limited to 50KB, reasonable considering that we're not talking ultra high res photos here.

Pics are also jpg, gif, png. No bitmaps or Tif's

It may take a while for the DNS to refresh, but the address is:

I used that for awhile. Ended up going with Coppermine when I went from notepad to PHPnuke. Let me know how Gallery works out for you.[/url]

lol - I used phpnuke till all my servers got hacked. Then I upgraded from PHPnuke to moveable type. Let me know how phpnuke works out for you.

ps, notepad still rocks, but I use editpad pro

[update] sorry, that sounds a bit rude. No offense meant!

I had a metric ton of content and it became a chore to keep everything updated just for a personal website, so I changed to PHPnuke in hopes the it would lessen the burden of updating everything. And it has, I still haven't gotten around to re-adding everything yet

I actually prefer UltraEdit over everything else, but everyone has thier favorite text editor :D
