I say no, but like belg said lower the chance of it dropping.

I believe that the armor should have some kind of benefit. Maybe like bringing back warlocks abilities to enchant, but instead of wepons have it be magic armor and the armor breaks after like 15 minutes.

Well right now it seems every second drop is armor and sometimes you will get 2 armor drops in a row. I would say that for sure you should never get armor drops on the harder mobs

Armor drops on the harder mobs is cool when you get Fortification or Indestructible armor, but that happens 1 in a 10000000 times.
