One big drawback of fencing is that you only have a few good options, no point in using a short spear or spear. Pitchfork and warfork and maybe a good kryss. Mace is best for 1 handed weapons. The regular mace is the best 1 handed wep. Fencing has the best 2 handed wep and war forks are good but that's it. Swords has tons of options for both 1 and 2 handed. So pretty much you stand a better chance getting a magical swords weapon. If everyone is always using pitchforks then good magic ones will be expensive and scarce, making a surplus of cheap mace and sword weps. |
