Post subject:  Warlock Necromancer: Can't cast "Necro Spirit"
Wonderful that I get to play UO once again!

I created a warlock necromancer. Checked somewhere that you get all the necromancer spells immediately, just need the level and mana to cast them. Correct?

However when I try to cast "Necro Spirit" a skill that supposedly has a requirement of 0 skill level, the game states that "The spell is not in your spellbook".

Am I missing something or is this a bug?

Unrelated bonus question:
Tried to meditate by double clicking on the wizard hat. Doesn't work. Was I just trolled or is it buggy? :lol:

IIRC:
Mage hat -> Use the meditation skill, it gives a bonus while wearing a mage hat.
Necromancer - drop the spellbook and pick it up again.

I know in the recent past when I was playing around with mechanics it required me to have a normal spellbook with certain spells in it. If you can't figure it out, swap a full spellbook to that character and it should fix it. Assuming bob's method of pick up/drop necro book doesn't work.
