Good morning citizen's of Obsidian I'd like to take a moment to make a few staff announcements.
Horus - Probably the most respectable veterains in my opinion. Plus he is local to the Portland, OR area which is nice for staff meetings. I expect great things from this new counselor.
Wicked - Another veterain of the shard and has always been willing to help me and BB test bugs or test things on the shard when the need arises. This player has been waiting a long time to be counselor we just kept forgetting about making him one. Welcome again buddy!
Zaleth - Not really a veterain as much as Horus or Wicked, but he has the spirit of a true veterain and from the day he started playing on Obs has cared about it and the community of the shard. I'm hoping he helps me update some of the skill guides since I don't have that much time anymore to update them myself. Please welcome this counselor to the ranks.
And lastly but certainly not least I'd like to officially announce a few promotions that have happened recently. Exation was promoted to GM a few weeks ago, Hydro was promoted to GM 2 days ago, and Platinum will be promoted to Seer.
That will put our current staff to 4 Counselors (Horus, Saitek, Zaleth, Wicked), 2 Seers (Platinum and Sonne), 3 GM's (Exation, Hydro, Exodus), and 3 Admins (Blinkers, BB, and Me).
I have gotten a lot of requests for counselor positions especially in the last few days. Reguardless of whether or not someone in the past told you they would like you as staff or not I'd like for everyone to just have patients and in a couple of days I will be posting a counselor application. To get all of your minds started on what I will be asking for the two biggest things are A. how long will you be online on your staff account and B. previous experience and C. (big one) what will you do to get more people to come and play on Obsidian.
EDIT: APPRENTLY I WAS NOT CLEAR: DO NOT MESSAGE ME ABOUT BECOMING STAFF RIGHT NOW YOU WILL JUST PISS ME OFF.
I just deleted 8 messages of people asking to be staff and most where "hey what's the status of me becoming staff man, you told me to PM you". No I told you to be pacient and to wait for the damn staff application. So again if you ANYONE PM's me about becoming staff I will probably not end up hiring you, even if you've been a GM for 8 years on an official OSI server I don't care stop spamming me.

Congratulations to each and every one that has been added and promoted. It means a lot to have a staff you can depend on and one that is not partial. Welcome. It will be a pleasure haveing each of you looking after us. We know it is a big job. We thank you now for the time you are giving to us so we can play and have a good time. Thanks to everyone.

Nice work! more staff = better game, simple as that 
Im beginning to really enjoy this relatively small but close community. Its a different but very refreshing experience in comparison to all the other MMORPG's i've been involved in I will be doing my best to attract new players, I don't have to be staff to work hard at that!
My congratulations to all of you who became staff or got promoted!
Especially Hydro becoming GM - ive enjoyed many of your events dude, and you have helped me with many pages - you thoroughly deserve it!
...and of course congratulations and kudos to Broadband and Cybervic for being so f****** good at what they do...
'nuff said.
