I just wanna know if it's true that the longer a mine goes unmined, the better the odds of getting rarer ores.

i would say not myself, i've had lucky days like but never enough to suggest that the mine had been stocked full in the first place.
I believe when u try to mine the script checks for what ores are there fail or suceed, the type of ore is only then spawned.

I think its just complete random all the time. No matter how long a mine stays unmined, once someone is using it, what you get is totally random, according to your skill that is.

I'd say its random too. That would be too much work for them to have done, and wouldn't have been done without posting about

It's random. The way the script works, is there is a mine tile. Once a miner attempts to mine, the tile triggers, and then it takes a look at the miners mining skill, and spawns an ore vein, which you can then dig up.
There are no different types of mining tiles.
This is the same reason that someone with 5 mining can dig up bloodrock if a gm miner mined there first and failed.

So Duo are u saying that remote mines dont spawn more rare ore,as I have heard that a few times.

It was a joke (I think). Like in James Bond: Golden Eye, proximity mines compared to remote mines.
