Excalibur's comment isn't even that bad, its easy to tell he was just joking around. There's been much worst posted on these forums without offending others. You guys are just blowing this out of proportion.

OK, this is only being blown out of proportion bleh because it has degenerated into a slanging match, surely you can see that bro.

First and foremost the new moderators are members of staff, and I have had to become involved against my wishes - because Excalibur took it upon himself to question/disrespect a member of staff openly - when Trixx was merely trying to do his job.

We are certainly not bringing people down, as I have been helping many and offering praise where due - and I am sure that the new mods will continue in this. Many people have thanked me and complemented the input I have had here, and it is duly appreciated. Even the least observant among us can see that the forums are busy as ever, but with much more positive and constructive posts/threads - from Excalibur included. I would like things to stay that way

All that we ask is that you have respect for others, and that includes not posting things like that.

Any further posts on this matter will be deleted. We are not here to engage in verbal tennis with argumentative players. If you have a problem, then please PM me.

EDIT: And no, we are *not* slamming you, just your attitude sfterwards. All you needed to say was 'sorry I was just having a laugh but I'll be careful in future' and we'd have said 'OK, np'.
