| Post subject: | How do u kill a red orc? |
 Happen to run into a couple of "red" orcs on Isle of Avatar's and I thought that'll be a easy earned loot, couldn't be more misstaken. I have a Double Axe of vanq and I hardly even hurt him, nor was I able to hurt him enough with a GM crafted Excep.. bow. So can they only be killed by magic or what? |

If they cast prot or something they can be a really tough battle. Usually you get mobbed by them, but if you can just single a few out just hang in there slamming away. And try a xbow - it peices through react alot better. |

I was fighting one of them that didn't have ra, and I'm at 117 str and I didn't do enough dmg to him with any of the weaps I had, he didn't do much dmg to me either so he wasn't a problem, but got so frustrated when he hadn't lost any hp after like 5-10 min  I guess I'll try a x-bow instead

i kill em with my good olde gm crafted viking swords rather easilly, well takes a while but cant say its that hard of a fight |

those things were tough even before they started using prot spells. good to gain resist on fighting the mages. the tough mage will vary rarely but sometimes drop a grey flask. looks like the old poison wall pots except its just called "a flask". kinda like the sun harpys flask drop. a good while back you could get the red armor that is now available from shadow knights off the red orcs. |

if your a newby then they can be a little hard on you but they shouldnt be realy realy hard! |
